I made it through about half the paper, but I can't say I understand everything I'm reading on the first go-through. I'll have to wiki some terms and continue.

However. It's well-written and given that I'm not an expert on 3rd century Persia...I'll have to slow down.

Thanks. It's a topic that is very difficult to present to outsiders. It took me no less than seven months of intense study to speak about it with the degree of authority that you have there. And it's far from being the highest degree, there's still a number of aspects I feel pretty stupid about.
