The gig last night was amazing! I haven't had that much fun in ages. Considering the fact that there were a few songs I heard for the first time, I wasn't bored for a second. Slash is a true master. But the biggest surprise for me was Myles Kennedy. I've always thought of him as an average singer, but he's beyond awesome live - the way he interacts with the audience, his body language, his expression - what a charismatic man.

I'm glad you had a great time!

OK. Bedtime. Another 4410 words written. My head hurts. See you tomorrow!

He did. It was impossible to hear Myles singing throughout the whole song, the crowd was singing that loud.

Damn, I'm already being highly speculative again in my paper. It's just that this is so much fun. :(

I was just writing a passage about a possible war fought in the territory of Afghanistan in the second or third century. I'm only basing it on three vague hints, none of which could really support anything on its own, but it all fits together so well. This was the first passage of the paper that I actually enjoyed writing. So far, I've only been gathering sources and presenting them. Now it's about interpreting them - and that's something I love doing.

You know, I kind of envy you about enjoying what you do so much. I know it's just a small part of the whole thing but the way you describe it makes it sound really cool.

Right now, I'm having a real party. I spent ages searching and assembling sources and references, setting up everything meticulously, in true Prussian fashion... and now I can finally play with it! :D I just have to watch out that I don't get carried away by it.

In deed it seems interesting but what's the point for a research of something hypothetical that never happened??

Oh, but it might have happened. My hunch tells me that it did, my research is aimed at finding out whether or not I'm right.

It's called doing history. And if Perun is right, and can assemble enough information, he may change the way we study history. Isn't that cool?
