I hereby declare tonight a writing night. Who's gonna be up?
I was just writing a passage about a possible war fought in the territory of Afghanistan in the second or third century. I'm only basing it on three vague hints, none of which could really support anything on its own, but it all fits together so well. This was the first passage of the paper that I actually enjoyed writing. So far, I've only been gathering sources and presenting them. Now it's about interpreting them - and that's something I love doing.
It's called doing history. And if Perun is right, and can assemble enough information, he may change the way we study history. Isn't that cool?In deed it seems interesting but what's the point for a research of something hypothetical that never happened??
