I have a presentation to give in an hour and a half. Instead of preparing for it, I'm listening to Rime...
 
Why are the harmonies after the solos in Rime so similar to the ones after the solos in The Duellist? Hmm...
 
I have no problem with it, really. Using a similar melody twice on the same album can contribute in giving the album a more unified feel. And if it's not overdone, it doesn't take away creativity points in my opinion.

They partly consist of the same notes and have kind of a similar structure but I would say they are different enough to be done twice. Both harmonies are cool as hell imo.
