Not in Europe. For some reason Europeans are more paranoid about "violent" cartoons and video games than Americans. They have changed the name of both to make them less threatening. whether it worked or not I don't know.

For example, Ninja Gaiden was renamed "Shadow Warrior" and Contra was not only renamed but redone as "Probotector" or something like that and all the soldiers were made robots. Thus the change from "ninja" to "hero" in the TMNT name.

Yeah i forgot that. I actually have the game probotector. Itis a very, very hard game :P
