I play the stereo. My gig is that sometimes I play just stereo (two mains with a sub) and sometimes I play 5-channel (to mains, center, rears and sub)... then, on occasion I'll bump that with some remote speakers in the living room. And, when I'm feeling crazy, I'll turn something on in the garage as well!!

On a similar side note, my daughter turns 16 this weekend, and is bringing a boatload of 15/16year old girls to spend the night. My son has turned her into a bass loving dubstep dropping music listener. So, she is bringing over all the friends to feel the house shake.

I need alcohol.
 
Yeah.... I'm thinking that I need to find a local bar and a pretty girl to buy drinks for while that goes on.

Now, if my son wanted to bring home a bunch of college age girls that could drink for an over nighter..... You guys could all come... :)

I am having the same Friday, except they are 13 year olds. And I have to chaperone. And I can't drink (at least so their parents would notice).
 
My fucking roommate.

He wanted to buy a kilt, but he wanted a "utility kilt" as offered on Think Geek. I don't fucking know what the cocksucking difference is, but he made me get it for him, paid cash and I used my credit card. It just arrived, and I was assessed a $30 import fee, because there's a tariff on fucking kilts in Canada, because we make them ourselves.

It's a shitty kilt, too. He's such a hipster, and it drives me up the wall.

You guys are already doing great really. I am pretty busy (preparations funeral) at the moment but certainly will be more active when the time comes and when I feel more like it.

Ah, roommates! I could write a book of stories. I used to have a roommate who flooded the room twice, set it on fire once and had her boyfriend yank out the front door and throw it out of a window. A closed one. Some of her friends even threw half my stuff out of the window once at a party.

@DJ: You can fit the same notes into a measure of 4/4, you just have to change the values. Whole notes become half notes, etc. Then just divide the BPM in half. Your 8/4 at 205 BPM is counting what should be 8th notes.

In other news, the work day is almost done. I have had the fun of setting up two servers recently!! One had a bad disk right from the factory, so we put it in raid and let it die. Now setting up a virtual machine for our SAN.

Loosey, this IT stuff is straight up fun!!
 
I talked to my professor today, and he approved of my idea for my MA dissertation. I have never gotten so much encouragement from a prof before.
