Long hair is too hard to take care of and it gets in my eyes a lot when I'm trying to read music.

I've never had long hair (never had the chance) but I think it would fit my looks. I'll probably try it as soon as I graduate from high school.
 
My hair was a mess, had to wash it every day to make it look at least a bit normal. If I didn't have to go to college every day I wouldn't cut it. But I do, and I just don't have time to wait for it to dry for 3 hours every day.

In other news, do you guys remember or did I even tell you about the paper I turned in recently that took three months to write and spawned a meager 14 pages? I got an A on it, and my prof supports my idea of extending it for my MA thesis. :yey:
 
Well, what's making me feel positive about it is that the better part of those three months were spent amalgamating basic knowledge on the topic, so I don't need to do that reading again.

Congrats on the A. I like to think you got a good grade because you took the extensive time needed to shorten your paper to 14 pages. Anyone who thinks page numbers is a perfect proxy for effort or rigor is dead wrong -- part of writing well is conveying the same information in fewer words (or pages). Enjoy a frosty beverage.

Pretty glad it's October. I love when it starts to get colder, and there's always a nice atmosphere around. I also feel like no matter how bad my year has been, the last three months end up being awesome.

...what's been bad about your year?
 
Er, I meant more in general. This year hasn't been too bad despite a lot of school issues. I'm really having problems in school so far this year. But besides that it's been fine really.
