That bit made me burst out laughing so hard the guy in the office next to me stopped by to see what was up. So I showed it to him and he laughed too.

Speaking of movie trailers, saw one for Anna Karenina. Maybe I'm just a superficial reader, but I thought Anna was despicable and therefore disliked the whole book. Same for Madame Bovary. Not sure why those books and characters are so beloved.

A few years ago my dad wondered aloud if a throw would be counted if the javelin got stuck in one of the judges and he staggered back a bit. I didn't think this sort of thing would ever happen.

I don't think it would count, because the officials are supposed to be outside the sector marked by the lines radiating from the throwing area - and the javelin has to land inside that sector for the throw to count.

Well, September is here and the summer is officially over. September indicates the start of the new season at school, let's see how it turns out.
