Wow, you obviously live by the dead Med, rather than near the water.

Each fish tastes unique and is good for certain things. In my life, I have had salmon (pacific and atlantic), cod, haddock, pollock, swordfish, tuna (raw from the still-wriggling fish), and trout. All good for different things. All good.

The leftover cornbread will go with breakfast tomorrow: a spicy pseudo-Mexican omelet. Chorizo, jalapenos, diced chiles, salsa, and hot sauce mixed into the eggs so it comes out red.

That's pretty Mexican actually. Huevos a la mexicana (Mexican eggs) are scrambled eggs with diced chiles (specifically jalapenos) and onions...

I'm trying to remember what that really fleshy fish was that I ate once and absolutely loved. If you hadn't known it was fish, you would never have guessed either.

I called it pseudo-Mexican because I know nothing actual Mexican breakfast foods. I just picked out some hot, Mexican-sounding stuff at the store and hoped I was right.

Although I have had those eggs before and liked them. They're easier to make, but I do love omelets. The artistry of a well-made omelet cannot be surpassed.

I agree. I like experimenting and making my own omelets, usually involving a 4 cheese blend (that I use on quesadillas too), tomatoes, jam (usually honey ham), and jalapenos.

I'm awake! An hour early just to play online with some friends.

What am I nuts? I slept for 5 hours!

I'm going to get my cousin in a while. She's doing the same course I'll be doing right now. She's basically a close friend from age 0, we've been getting together almost every saturday for many years.

It's incredible how much the flu can set your form back ... was ill last week, and today I played footy with some colleagues (as we usually do on Saturday mornings) - first in two weeks for me. Bloody hell, how exhausted I am ... gonna have to rest for the remainder of the weekend ...
