Deano - when I wrote "pint" I wasn't completely precise. The Norwegian standard volume for beer is 1/2 liter - the US pint is slightly smaller and the UK pint slightly larger. So 12* 1/2 liter is 203 oz.

Whew! I don't feel so bad now.  :D ... and yes the days I was drinking that much alcohol were in my first few years as a US Marine. Us older ones don't tend to be AS bad.

No, I moved to California a few months ago and of course, didn't drink on the way out. I don't really know anyone here anymore so there is really no one to drink with and I don't much drink alone anymore.... Plus been busy with putting the new house together. Guess it's been the perfect storm for sobriety. On a positive note, at least I will be a cheap date when the wheel finally breaks on my wagon.  :lol:
