Listen to that album and tell me they don't pay Zep respect. Great cover from (IMO) one of the few voices that should cover Led Zepplin.

I guess when I hear nothing songs like Once Bitten, I wonder how a band like could possibly do a good job covering Zep, but I'll take your word for it and check it out.

^ I love Annilhilator! Alison Hell kicks serious ass. I thought I was the only one who knew them!
I'm a bit of a fan. Saw them live way back in the late 80's a couple of times when Randy Rampage was on vocals - for the first time.

I think Albie's the one that likes Kreator-- that's thrash, right?
But this band is the best European band that is not Maiden! And yes, Kreator are tharsh.

Ok. Best Kreator album?

Damn, the Adrian Smith worship page on facebook sucks. The main guy gives crappy H sayings and the fans say even shittier sayings that relate to fecal matter mostly.

Yeah, I have been installing Office 2010, and now I'm finding out that it isn't compatible with one of the insurance programs, so I have to go back and un-install it and put on an older version... gr.  I get so tired of compatibility issues.  We are still using XP (which is fine) because one of the bank software mfg's won't approve use with Win7.  (yeah, that isn't MS's fault, other than MS just pisses me off ;))

Yeah, that is what I was thinking-- I may have to break down and listen to some of that!

Tough one - I do like some of their new stuff, contrary to what some say of them. Enemy of God is possibly one of my favourites - but Extreme Aggression was the album I first purchased by them and that is also worth a listen.

Their really early stuff was very raw and occasionally, I do find it a little tedious. BUT that is just my opinion. As I said, Extreme Aggression and beyond are good to brilliant albums.

I really like the "Industrial" stuff they did like Endorama when they had Tommy Vetterli (of Coroner fame) on guitar.

Phobia is their best track.
Second - Enemy of God.

If you can't get moved by either of those tracks, then Kreator ain't your thing. :D

For a while - but sometime next year a new standard of HDD will be released that has change in the sector size. WinXP will not run efficiently, or at all, on these HDD's.

Let me add that Kreator are reputed to be one of the most consistent bands of the old guard, so I guess you can't go wrong with anything by them.

@LC: when 2010 doesn't work, I'm going back to Office XP and upgrading to 2003-thats what we have. We are working on buying some 2007's but none now.
Today, I'm going around with magical jellybean, finding 2003 keys to use...

@Albie- I had heard that. Yeay.

Twice Shy is arguably their most commercial song.  If you haven't tried out the album "Once Bitten" and listened to Rock Me or Lady Red Light, you really haven't sampled what GW is capable of.  I'm not saying they are the next Doors or Black Sabbath, but they are technically sound, write some good material, and their lead has a good voice.

Ohhhhhh! I'm crushed! I was going to attempt to figure out my contribution to this abomination of a thread. I know it's a lot.

Any other recommendations?
Here's a couple of more tracks I like by Kreator:

Renewal

Endorama

Both of these tracks showed a move away from thrash and in turn, some of their fans drifted away. Which is a shame because it stands to reason that bands really should evolve with the times and not stagnate.
