Whoa. Thats a lot of talk about some classics.
LA Guns never took off Traci had hoped, but there were a couple good songs from them-- I think I saw them open up for Def Leppard on Hysteria.
Winger, Kip's first album had a couple good 80's style tunes, mostly the A side, though, I kinda enjoyed the Purple Haze he did (yeah, I know, its not Hendrix, I agree)
Seriously, Twisted Sister rocked out some great tunes! No way they should ever be dogged on! Dee is still the man.
Firehouse had a decent debut album, I don't remember the second one as well. Definitely a product of the era, but I'll still spin them on occasion. Saw that one in '90, was fun.
Quiet Riot...not going there again, but there is a convo about them here somewhere-- I'll agree to that one, I saw that about 12 years ago, not worth seeing again.
Slaughter-- Thats a band that had the bad luck to debut the year (or so) before Nirvana changed the 'pop' scene. I really had high hopes, but time wasn't in their favor.
White Lion--Meh, never really had any strong hits that I recall, but Radar Love (their video of) had a Kawasaki ZX-10, so got two thumbs up!
Ratt, You know, I had some pretty good memories of 'Round and Round'...ah, the fun of High School!
