I've just watched the video on YouTube and it seems that it's has been filmed by someone who was in the crowd with a simple camcorder.

Yes, he did. But sometimes you can see some "video calibration" inscriptions on screen and that's really disturbing.

Steve has blamed Rod for not filming the tour in the past, but perhaps they just forgot to do it (not sure how that could have happened considering the planning and cost involved with professional video shoots at the time though).

I dunno where the forgetting thing came from, the official explanation was and always will be that Rod Smallwallet declared they wouldn't do a video of that tour since they just did Live After Death. Since it's the 80s and recording shows is heinously expensive, nobody ultimately objects despite the pretty unique stage show being something that might've been live video worthy.

It's shot from multiple angles. It's likely a pro shot broadcast but uploaded from a scuzzy vhs recording. This version also randomly has the Live at the Rainbow gig at the end of it.

What are precisely considered as the best possible quality bootlegs from Somewhere On Tour?
For video, I think atleast Paris and Philadelphia qualify as proper full proshot ain't possible to have, but is there any other?
And what about the audio?

Ok, just checked my own list and I have all the best quality shows on dvd from this tour.
EAD666 used to be very good resource for shows, did he stop trading or something?
Iron Maiden are number 12 on this list of artists ranked by average box office gross per city.
