In addition to the Tuesday announcement, Nova Rock's site says...

"October 24: This is the first big and really fantastic band package with another headliner and absolute top acts from the heavy, rock alternative and hip hop landscape." (thanks, Google translate!)

Theoretically, Rammstein and Slipknot could both fit into that second package, leaving the Tuesday announcement open for Maiden... still, I'd be surprised if they play there two years in a row.

Maiden played Graspop this summer, so them returning next year probably isn't happening even if they are touring in Europe.
