Brazilian interview with Bruce about Rock In Rio 2019 -> https://g1.globo.com/pop-arte/music...son-diz-estamos-melhores-do-que-em-1985.ghtml

G1 - Should Brazilian fans expect something like the set of the European tour that you are in now?

BD - Yes, it will be almost the same setlist. It's the biggest and best show we've ever had. For those who saw us on YouTube, it's not like being there, it's not the real thing ... Of course everyone goes to the show knowing what the order of the songs will be, but when you see the "airplane" flying in the first song your eyes will not believe it, it's unbelievable. It is a spectacle.

G1 - What did you do in 1985 that you do not do anymore?

BD - There's nothing I did back then that I can not do now. We're better now than in 1985. We've gotten better ... [Laughs] We're older, we have more experience. Our band is much, much better than before.

G1 - Is there any song that fans love, but if you could, would you take the show out because you've sung it many times?

BD - No.

G1 - And which could never take?

BD - I defend every song I sing at that hour. Some are harder to sing than others, you know? It depends on where they are on the set. "Aces High" is always difficult and I have to be prepared for it because it is the first set ...

G1 - In the three times at Rock in Rio, which was the best and which one is the worst?

BD - [Laughs] I do not care much. Really. For me, every performance comes out in a different way ... Every show has bad and good things. The first time we played in Rio was amazing. It was the first time in Brazil.

He says the show will be "almost the same" as the Legacy of the Beast tour. The opening feature will speak about Winston Churchill, followed by "Aces High". There are 16 songs and a double at the end with "Fear of the Dark" and "The Number of the Beast''.

FTGGOG, Wicker Man, or Evil That Men Do seem like the only possible contenders for being replaced. Everything else is pretty essential to the theatrics.

Hopefully it’s exactly the same. The only songs I can see being swapped are the Blaze songs or FTGGOG and I really want to see those.

I think they said they were considering changing the setlist back in 2013 when they were doing the Maiden England tour but they didn't. I don't see this setlist changing.

Maybe the translation isn't 100% correct?

There were a couple interviews where Bruce said something to the effect of it being the 2012 set "with a twist", and there was a very unsubtle teaser in the last episode of IMTV 2012 showing Infinite Dreams and Hallowed programmed into the lighting desk- no idea why this was scrapped, what an incredible setlist that would have been :(

Still scope to swap in 'Alexander the Great'. :p

I hope you're right. :p

I think maybe only FTGGOG and TETMD seems likely to be replaced with Heaven Can Wait and The Clairvoyant or The Wicker Man with Brave New World.

Paschendale will be a amazing addition too.

I really, really hope that the bolded song switch isn't even considered at the slightest. :D

The most important thing to note is that thankfully, Wrathchild doesn't really fit into any of the show's "themes", so hopefully we'll get an interesting change!

Actually, I based my songs changes from the explanation of the tour poster hints - I'm ok with both songs, to be fair. :)

Although FTGGOG doesn't have the best fan reaction of the setlist, I'm pretty sure they won't drop it as it really is essential to the stage theatrics + fits the religion/war theme pretty well. If they drop it, I'm gonna be really disappointed.
