Didn't Steve say that since his illness Bruce picks the set so that it's doable for him?

If that's still true for this tour then it shows how ballsy he is, choosing Where Eagles Dare and Flight of Icarus and having Hallowed and RTTH as the last two damn songs (and pulling them off magnificently judging by video evidence so far).

However it's worth remembering that Nicko was the one who pushed for Tears of a Clown in 2016 and the band listened that time.

Bruce has had a big say on the setlist on every tour since the reunion, but since his cancer it seems that he has the final word on what is played.

I gotta say The Clansman and Sign of the Cross are getting up in my favorite Iron Maiden songs list. I always liked em since Rock in Rio DVD and now hearing those live myself - Shit. Im so glad they play them on this tour.

Aces High is great opening song with C's speech. Run to the Hills ending the set... You can really leave everything you got. For me, RttH works better than any other song ive heard in 8 gigs ending the set. Ok, im a huge Rock in Rio DVD fan (it got me into Maiden) but still.

And when Flight of Icarus started... I just had to close my eyes for a minute and enjoy. Its really happening. What a great song.

Overall its perfect set in my opinion. I wouldnt change a thing what i saw last two evenings, im gonna take a few more beers and listen some songs from Youtube and go to bed. Have fun in Sweden!

I think this is somehow natural for the singer to have a bigger input on the setlist than the other members.

This is how it always should have been, but never was until recently. It's part of the reason why Bruce has sounded so much better since the reunion: he gets to pick what he sings (for the most part).

And please remind me w

Quite sure it was Bruce who wanted it played
