LEGACY OF THE BEAST 2019

It's easy, though, isn't it. Same songs, same set, same props, same basic artwork. It's a ready made package, instead of having to design a whole new tour from scratch.

Of course it’s easy. But they are in their 60s (65s), so I expect that their final moments will be majestic, not just some “Best of” tours.

That won't take them six months. Seems like Bruce just shows up at Robinsons Brewery to taste different beers and give his opinion and then they make the beer.

Two beers, then!

I think the Asia/Oceania tour is just too expensive to do with ships, so the next time they visit there is probably during the next album tour with EF-1.

I wouldn't like it, but I could see them extending the current tour through 2020, then recording + releasing their 17th album towards the ending of that year, then possibly an album + farewell tour in 2021-22...? Honestly can't see Nicko playing past the 70-year-old mark. (becomes 70 in 2022)

I could see them going on without Nicko. Would not be the same, but I could see it.

Especially if they recorded the last album in the studio with Nicko. That way they could introduce a touring drummer who doesn't have to write anything and give strict instructions that they follow all the drum parts from all songs exactly as they are and boom, Nicko writes but doesn't follow

Most of Maiden’s drum parts are probably based off Steve’s bass rather than the other way around. I doubt Nicko has that much input other than adding his personal flair, which really couldn’t be dictated to another drummer unless they found a Nicko clone.

Which was my point, stick his personal stuff on the album via him, then get a new touring member to learn it all note for note and play it live.
