Holy crap! Got FttB. First time ever. In BOTH Houston AND SA! Gonna make this LotB Texas Tour 2019 memorable. Doing the VIP Trooper party in SA as well. Damn! This is gonna rock. So with FttB, anything I need to know. I doubt I will actually be against the rail. (I can't stand that long, i gotta pee/beer it up preshow. But being 2-3rd row is fine by me. I am too old to get crunched at the barrier!) haha. Up the Irons. Now somebody give me a dollar for a lottery ticket. I got this! :)

I don't think you can combine FTTB and Trooper VIP

From ironmaiden.com

"Trooper VIP and FTTB aren’t compatible because you can’t be in two places at once, FTTB goes in before Trooper VIP ends."

So far one right and one wrong. :D

easily 2 wrong if the album is indeed done, be a waste of time bringing the legacy tour back to europe and americas for dates just to please Oceania / Asia which they wont go down there without ed force one so nah, album tour will be the next we see them whenever that may be. Legacy is a gonner in October :D If there was going to be a down under leg they would have tagged it on this tour imo its only less than 10 gigs down there then up to NA like they usually do it.

I hate the new thing of putting event shirts online.
It's a good way of stopping (or limiting) people from buying a dozen of them at the gig and then sell them on ebay. But it's not a new thing, they have been doing it for a long time altough some years ago they didn't put the date on the shirts.

I kind of agree about it diminishing the "I was there" value of them a little bit, but I have to admit that I was pretty happy about it in 2011 when I was able to get the UK event shirt online. :halo: That Coming Home comic artwork is just so amazing and makes it one of the most memorable event shirt designs (or IM shirt designs in general) of the decade, in my opinion.

Yeah, I looked it up, it's not a huge stadium, wiki didn't have a figure for gigs, but it's capacity for football is 22,000. I presume the gig capacity is in the same ball park, i.e. some capacity will be lost accommodating the stage but capacity will be gained with standing on the pitch.

How does 22,000 compare with sheds in the US and what sort of numbers do Maiden do in them?

I remember seeing San Bernardino on the last tour doing 35K, what sort of venue is that and was that a headling Maiden show?

The LA show is the biggest of the current US tour (apparently ~25000 in attendance).

Here are some recent boxscores from the tour (the capacity of some of the sheds has been capped):

Budweiser Stage, Toronto: 26,448 / 26,448 (100%) - $1,553,524 (2 shows)
Xcel Energy Center, Saint Paul: 12,189 / 12,864 (94%) - $1,178,631
Rogers Arena, Vancouver: 12,349 / 12,349 (100%) - $934,972
Rogers Place, Edmonton: 11,642 / 12,367 (94%) - $905,413
Scotiabank Saddledome, Calgary: 11,600 / 11,600 - $898,333
KeyBank Center, Buffalo: 11,371 / 11,371 (100%) - $885,907
Golden 1 Center, Sacramento: 9,723 / 10,290 (94%) - $877,123
Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre, Tinley Park: 14,662 / 16,000 (91%) - $866,858
Bridgestone Arena, Nashville: 8,064 / 10,200 (79%) - $785,618
Riverbend Music Center, Cincinnati: 14,954 / 16,000 - $742,372
Bell MTS Place, Winnipeg: 9,362 / 10,487 (89%) - $689,783
Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center, Noblesville: 12,708 / 13,000 (98%) - $590,730

San Bernardino had around 27k in 2013 and 23k in 2017.

Really, I could have sworn I seen 35K mentioned somewhere, maybe I got the venue wrong, it was a recent tour, there was a video doing the rounds of fans dancing around a huge bonfire???
