Legacy of the Beast 2018 Tour

On both legs of the TBoS tour at least. Considering we're in the internet era of no secrets I'm imagining it will happen again, even if there's no obvious channel for it like the Chinese government leak in 2016.

Steve and Bruce hate Icarus.... it has a 0% chance since they pick the set lol
It's a tempo argument. And since Maiden are not playing songs lighning fast anymore, I don't see an issue with that. Read What Does This Button Do. There is a page about Icarus and it's tempo.

Bruce loves the song (he actually goes in quite details about most of the songs on POM in the book, except Quest Dor Fire, I think) and I'm pretty sure that Steve does like it too.

P.S. If you think there is 0% chance, would you bet your left nut? Right kidney, maybe?

Was that before the start of the tour though?

Well, obviously. It wouldn't exactly be a leak if we already knew the setlist. In 2017 the set was deduced from an overbright photo of Bruce with the setlist on paper, and from that it was figured out TGU would be played. Also in 2016, Sonor put up pics of Nicko's drums some time before the first show (they were from the already built stage set) and those too had the setlist visible, but I don't think anyone caught that.

The China setlist was almost dead on too, the only song missing was Powerslave (because they had to rename it The Wicker Man on the setlist) and the only other change was BNW getting scrapped, presumably due to set length concerns.

Is that the picture of Bruce you mentioned ? It's pretty hard to recognize the songs on the setlist.

Maiden England set was also leaked. There was a picture of the list going around in IMFC forum at least a couple of days before the first show.

Obviously, many (me included) thought it was fake, because Maiden would never play a gig without Hallowed and the inclusion of ATSS and the omission of Infinite Dreams just seemed too odd, considering the theme of the tour

Oh well.

I'm gonna try really hard to avoid setlist spoilers; since it is gonna be the first time I'm gonna see Maiden live, I want to be as surprised as possible. Knowing what song they are gonna play next kinda kills the excitement...

I mean, it's not totally unlikely I suppose, but I'd be really surprised if Powerslave stays on but Revelations doesn't get played. The inclusion of Flight of Icarus is pretty interesting though.

e: Not that I consider it a setlist hint, but some of the picks might've been based on what they're gonna play on the tour.

It's Nicko.
Nah, not enough “ELLO BOYS N GIRLS!” :p
setlist hint?

* Can I Play With Madness
* Number Of The Beast
* Run To The Hills
* Powerslave
* Hallowed Be Thy Name

* Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
* Fear Of The Dark
I hope not. We already got a "Here's Two Thirds of Somewhere Back In Time Again" tour in 2012-2014.

I think they're based on what's on the mobile game.

Well, there's quite a lot of stuff that isn't in the game anyway (Hallowed, Icarus, CIPWM, Wasted Years, Rime, FOTD). Funny enough, all of those have been more or less around in speculations here, even on a realistic level. :D I doubt Rime, Powerslave, and CIPWM though, but the others are pretty passable or obvious.

They said they're going to try to cover all periods so how exactly does that 82-88+FOTD setlist, that's two or three choices away from SBiT 2009, fit in? And where's Iron Maiden?

the issue I see Bruce having with it is the vocals..... It's very difficult vocally to pull even being with a slow tempo
