That'd be cool too. I'd still probably do the split at Dynasty, since there is less good material from there. Plus I doubt I'd have anything from after Revenge except maybe a couple from Psycho Circus.

I guess Dynasty is not a bad cutoff since that is the last album the 4 originals played on (until Psycho Circus) and would include the 4 solo albums. I cannot see adding anything from Sonic Boom or Monster .. they were not so good IMO

I'm not sure if I would even include solo album material. Sonic Boom had some okay moments, Monster was pretty bad. I haven't even been able to get through the whole thing.

I like the Ace version of Hide Your Heart better ... but keeping that and Little Caeser out of liking Eric Carr, not so much the song ... voting off most of the rest of CN and HITS

Didn't know Ace did that song. Listening now, very cool. I think it's a good song, would like to see that and Rise To It promoted.

There is a video out there somewhere on youtube where Ace tells the story of Gene Simmons calling him asking him to remove the Hide Your Heart ... and Ace basically said he already recorded it and spent time and money on it ... he bought the rights to do the song ... so get fucked.

Revenge joins the battle!

We've reached my favorite Kiss album. Heavy, aggressive, awesome. Almost every song is a gem.

Only You
World Without Heroes
Hell Or High Water
Reason To Live
Thou Shalt Not
Every Time I Look At You
Paralyzed

I really disagree with the every song is a gem statement. In fact, apart from 2 or 3 songs I find it a boring album. To me, it lacks good hooks. I hardly find strong melodies (or even melodies at all). Just riffs and not that great ones either. Carr Jam I like the most.

I like Revenge, I liked it a ton when it came out .. probably in part because the previous 3 albums were so bad .. that it made Revenge seem better. I like it less now, but it is still good .. I enjoy about 3/4 of it.

Foro .. if you like Carr Jam ... check out Breakout on the first Frehleys Comet album Ace and Eric Carr came up with that for a Kiss album. Ace made it into a full song. Carr Jam on Revenge is the Ace/Eric version, but they took Ace off and had Bruce Kuilick redo it.

I definitely take Breakout over the Carr Jam. Very cool song. Apparently Ace and Eric got along very well, it's too bad they only played together on the one album.

Yeah, they did ..> There is a story that Ace wanted him to play on a song on one of his albums (I think Trouble Walking) not long before he died, but KISS essentially said no

Didn't know about that, though I'm not surprised. Shit move on their part, to say the least.

You're right, my mistake.

I miss the ability to edit titles.

Didn't see any of these choices Friday.
Although God gave rock'n'roll... was their Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.
But I suppose you Kiss veterans already know this.
