Judas Priest

With Ozzy cancelling all his 2019 tour dates, shouldn't Judas Priest get their act together and book a headlining UK and European tour or are they happy to be a support act during their twilight years?

Agreed, they don't really have the time to wait for Ozzy. And I really want to see them live.

I assume Priest is under contract to play with Ozzy. They can do a headlining UK tour after they finish the tour with Ozzy which would now be in late 2020.

I find that curious. If they were to bring stuff with trade-off solos like "Riding on the Wind" into the set, would Richie just do one long solo?

Well he already play Painkiller's both solos, so maybe yes.

But the next year is their 50th Anniversary Tour - they cannot play the Firepower tour from the previous year.

It's confirmed? Rob says that they will include ''Out In The Cold'' in the setlist for the upcoming NA shows... :yey: as well as new songs from Firepower.

Halford shared that they are revamping their setlist and they will include their '80s tune "Out in the Cold" from their Turbo album in their shows, as well as new tracks from their latest studio offering, Firepower. "It will be a whole new vibe for Firepower," he admitted.

I feel like their deep dive into their catalogue they keep hyping up is in order to get some songs prepped for this 50th anniversary tour they are also mentioning.

Quite happy to hear Out In the Cold could make a return

So? I’m probably not seeing them either but I think that’s pretty exciting. I’ve been wanting them to bring that one back for a long time. Looking forward to the video.

I just think it's odd to be excited about a setlist for a show you're not seeing. Take DT for example. I think it's awesome they brought out Metropolis Part 2, however I'm not seeing them so I can't be excited for a show I am not seeing.

It's also my first time seeing Judas Priest.. I want to see 'Hell Bent For Leather', I want to see 'The Sentinel'. Anything from Firepower is welcome too. 'Out in the Cold' is a song I don't care for at all.

When was the last time they played "The Sentinel"? It's one of my top tracks and I'd love to hear it, but I can't see the most recent live recordings of it (Epitaph in 2013) were very promising for Rob's performance.

Yeah, 2013 version of Sentinel was horrendous, but Rob sounds a bit better now.

I think Judas Priest Firepower album is very good but seeing couldn't fill theaters and playing in casinos…damn that kill me. I think they should think in change of management. I think they're a band that could headline Donnington this year together with Slayer, Dream Theater, Anthrax and Tool…(Slayer, Dream Theater and Anthrax in a mid-level stage…and Def Leppard, Slash, Slipknot and Tool headlining Donnington…what a shit man) Priest power in the US is falling I think

The end is near!!!!
it's like Virtual XI Tour, well I think it's time to call KK Downing and forget all the shit and make a 2 or 3 big bands tour…They could be playing in South America with Maiden, Scorpions and Megadeth. If Maiden don't want to do it, maybe a lineup with Judas Priest, Scorpions and Megadeth would be awesome gig.
