Judas Priest

He like a lightsaber during 'Rising From Ruins' or whatever its called. That was cool. Teleprompter isn't great though. How can he not know the words to songs he's been singing for decades?

You have the full show on the 30th anniversary edition of Defenders of the Faith. :D

They toured SFV for two years (two times America as well). Look how much was left of that album material in this 1984 tour. :--)
And almost the whole Defenders of the Faith album in this set!

Looks to me like that song list omitted the encore.
Should have been Hell Bent, Another Thingand Midnight

Thanks! I looked at something incorrect. I just checked and it is: Midnight, Hell Bent and Another Thing (this order).

Corrected setlist above.

It is sad that they do not released a video of that tour - amazing setlist and the stage set was epic with the Metallian from the album cover behind the drums, but hey, at least we have a live album from it, 30 years later. I wish I could say the same for SIT tour or POM tour.... full audio concert !

Also on that US leg/setlist they played Heading Out To The Highway, at least once.

They also played Devil's Child on that tour, on the Europe warm-up leg in 1983.
I'm not surprised that so many songs were played from the DOTF album (9 out of 10), especially on the US leg - that is the best Priest album !

I have noticed that Priest do not do that often, like Maiden - to open the setlist of a album tour with the first song from the respective album - that somehow became a tradition for Maiden (the only exceptions being: TBOTR, TXF and IM tours).
