Judas Priest tour announcement coming next month

Yea I have a DVD from that tour and I didn't think it sounds good there either.
Agree to disagree then, provided it sounds like Sweden Rock.

Is it Sofia? I have that too. I traded some rare stuff for it (which I think surfaced on Dime after). I was mightily disappointed when I realized how terrible the picture and sound quality was.

Not sure. I'll check the Sweden Rock though.
Yea I still don't like it. I can't stand the singing style.

I just read that Living After Midnight was on the setlist as the last song, but wasn't played for unknown reasons (some people say that it was too hot in the venue and that the band was tired).

I could do without seeing it. If they would throw in something like Evening Star or something from SFV instead that would be cool.

Yeah, I agree.

Seeing that disappointing setlist, I decided against going to watch them.
Disappointing? It's not only the die hard fans they have to please. I think it's really good. Starbreaker is a fantastic choice. They could maybe have played a different song from Nostradamus and swapped Painkiller for One Shot at Glory and Heading Out To The Highway for Dersert Plains or Solar Angels, but aside from that, it's really good.

It's great. As a first concert for me, not only do I get the classic songs, but some gems that haven't been played in a long time if ever. Great balance.

Yea that's basically what they have been saying. I guess they'll continue to write albums and small tours across Europe and North America and that's it.

yep. He is very good too. The guitar work on that record is excellent.

I realised a few days ago that I already saw him with Lauren Harris' band when they opened for Iron Maiden (only time I saw Maiden). I'm going to see him with Judas Priest at the same venue.

They played it at my show, as the fourth encore.  I have to say it surprised me a bit since YGATC was done in such a "final" show-ending way (see this video at 16:00.

It was amazing yesterday. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Tied with Iron Maiden as the best concert of my life.

'nuff said. FABULOUS!  :edmetal:

With an exception as it was the ONLY concert I have ever been to.  :D

Atlantida - Boooooring.
Malehookers - Shittiest band I ever heard live.
Whitesnake - Boring. Too many "love" songs, Coverdale's voice is gone, and other bandmembers had to sing backing vocals throughout the whole concert. Saw them this time and never again (except if they are the opening act). Doug Aldrich (best guitarist for Dio IMO) and Reb Beach were awesome though. Btw. people who left after Whitesnake are pussies.
Judas Priest - Awesome from start to finish. Awesome setlist, awesome performance and nice stage design. I didn't even think about KK, new guitarist is great.
I went nuts when Painkiller started, at VIIIIICTIIIIIM OF CHAAAAANGEEEEES!!!!! part, The Sentinel chorus, opening of Rapid Fire, Breaking The Law was amazing (sang by audience ONLY)... Fantastic concert :yey:
