About my comment from the Metallica thread...

Mr. Q (No. 5) is partially right in his assumption about my comment.  I noticed that Metallica songs are more scattered than Maiden ones during that particular time, though later on during Maiden's experimental years votes varied from 3 to 8.  My basic experience is that hard-core Metallica fans, the ones that rate the band as #1, have different preferences than a typical person here.  I've spoken to some of them.  Some of the songs that came as favourites that were voted out early are: Leper Messiah, Eye of the Beholder, Whiplash, Metal Militia, Damage Inc. etc.  This comes from the 80s hard-core camp, however, and not the 90s camp.  At any rate, tastes differ.  So I did not mean to imply that ones tastes are better than someone elses.

If all these songs have to go, then it's unlikely that any of the upcoming 80s album tracks will survive until we'll reach Painkiller. Maybe the title track of Ram it Down...

Now I have to figure out which 3 I'll do first.

If there's any hardrock with balls to be found on this album, this is the one.

Man, it starts cool. It is such a catchy, and positive track. Awesome bridge, chorus & solo. Brilliant vocals!

I am going from here until eternity..!
