Yeah, this is good stuff. Sure, it’s Satch being Satch, but that main rhythm riff grooves so hard and there are super interesting parts throughout.
Looking forward to the record.

Amazing song! This is very pleasant. Reminds me of his self-titled album.
Yeah. Love that Satch played the 2nd part of the solo note for note. Teacher learns a solo from the student. And their new coloborative song is great. A masterclass how to play guitar harmonies. This is cool.
Really cool to see. Satch is such a great guy. Can't wait to hear the new song!Yeah. Love that Satch played the 2nd part of the solo note for note. Teacher learns a solo from the student. And their new coloborative song is great. A masterclass how to play guitar harmonies.
Actually, they are playing it.Really cool to see. Satch is such a great guy. Can't wait to hear the new song!
Hot damn, when that riff drops...what a moment! These guys look like they're having so much fun.Actually, they are playing it.
It's released on Friday. Also, they wanted to do a few songs at first, but are doing a whole album now.
I need to go back and listen to his newer albums. Other than Elephants of Mars, which hit at a perfect time for me and has a few total classic standouts, most of his newer material has felt a bit samey and background-ish.I’ve started to dig the Shapeshifting album a lot.
I'm very curious to see what they'll do here. Clearly, they are gonna release an album together (based on that very cool single they did), but how can they stretch that into a whole show? Will they jam on each other's songs?Well, yesterday Satch and Vai announced first tour together in Europe. And this time it seems it will be as one band and not each of them playing with their respectable bands and jam at the end.
I think they will pick a drummer, a bassist and a keyboard player, while they will be eachother's secondary guitarist.I'm very curious to see what they'll do here. Also curious to see the musicians they pick as Satch tends to work with the same musicians for quite a long time.
I consider Shockwave Supernova and Shapeshifting his best “recent” works but I definitely need to revisit What Happens Next, Elephants of Mars and some others.I need to go back and listen to his newer albums.
