This is a question to both of you: if Adrian was asked about Maiden in the 90's (in the way Stratton was asked about Maiden i.e. about a period when he wasn't in the band) --how do you think he would respond?
Not to mention he wasn't even sure what albums those songs were from. I highly doubt he's familiar with the majority of Maiden's catalog. And that's okay, there's no reason why he should be.Indeed, he didn't need to be critical --but he was, about the band now; a band he hasn't been in for 30 years. Despite what you said above, I have no problem (if you were referring to me) with people criticising Maiden --as long as it's informed sounding. Regarding your comment directly above: I'm not sure, & I'm happy to be corrected. I just mean, from this interview, he didn't really sound like he was that familiar with, for example, song titles; only name dropping the "classics".
Very weird, you're now suddenly talking about Stratton again. My previous two posts were about Adrian Smith and a reaction to your (and Ariana's) posts.Indeed, he didn't need to be critical --but he was, about the band now; a band he hasn't been in for 30 years.
