Iron Maiden video interviews / shows

@Ariana: Janick: "I like it when things go wrong.... ...I think it's great when someone trips and falls over.."
Great eh? You missed a Bulgarian gig because of him falling into hospital. :/

Apparently from 1990, British TV. I found it randomly on Youtube.

Really? I don't remember it...

It's a left hand drive (& doesn't look like a UK car), hence why I asked. One of the crash test dummies also has a sort of (phoney) US accent too. Bizarre.

Hahahahaha! There were loads of seatbelt ads, but I don't remember that one at all!
Must have been on past the watershed....:innocent:

Post-watershed, I guess (I was about 13/14), and the parents refused to watch ITV most of the time anyway

I think so. Just odd for a British commercial to not have a right-hand drive car in it. I take it someone on Youtube had said it was a UK advert (--hence your initial comment)?

Still, it's quite unusual to have an advert referencing Eddie --& it being assumed you know who/what they're referring to. It's basically a (sort of) popular culture reference; not something I'd associate with Maiden i.e. I wouldn't have thought that many people would have been aware of who Iron Maiden's mascot was, in 1990 (--or any other time for that matter.)

Who knows, maybe it was broadcast on MTV or something. Maiden were pretty much at the peak of their popularity in 1990.

Bruce Dickinson Interview (Belgian TV 2000)

Hilarious duel on the Brussels market with ridiculous police intervention when they sit and have a beer afterwards. They ask if they have applied for permission to film this festivity. Interviewer says it isn't a festivity. Great EU comments by Bruce afterwards.

Steve Harris (Iron Maiden) Interview 1989

Steve Harris Interview Monsters Of Rock 1992 live at Donington

Cheers! This was easily my favourite video of the whole thread. Finally online after all these years. Who knows which other gems might pop up one day.
