Iron Maiden video interviews / shows

The guy's pattering away in Japanese for about 30 seconds & Nicko's straight in there, as if he understood every word of it, with "Good question, yeh, I think most definitely it will...". Amusing stuff. :D

Yeah and Dave's face, trying not to laugh: "How long will this continue? Maybe the bloke already fills in my answer?"

Headbangers Ball April 18, 1992

Steve and Dave, 1988 (raw and uncut interview)

Eddie Trunk criticizes Janick Gers' stage moves to Adrian Smith. I think the interview is from 2000.

Bruce, in 2000, on Poland

Interview to Greek television network ET1 at "Metalmania" with Dimitris Katis, just before the release of the album "Fear of the dark" in 1992

Uploader´s comment: Broadcast from WQFM radio in Milwaukee Wisconsin on December 19, 1984. If I recall correctly Bruce and the radio station did this as a special surprise as Bruce was not announced by name.

I know it's been discussed before, but the Trunk interview is so bizarre. For a guy "Celebrating 25 years of Hard Rock and Metal Radio" he's pretty shit at interviewing. Other than, as he happily admits, putting Adrian in a difficult position, by criticising Janick --in his preamble he's like "I don't expect you to respond to this but..." (I paraphrase)! WTF? But what, I'll be a smartarse & say it anyway? He then goes on to say how he doesn't know this & that about Janick's music background, blah blah. Ever heard of research, mate? Imagine phoning/interviewing Adrian & that's all you have to say to him!?

Im interested of interviews talking about the reunión and blaze departure , back in 99 was like blaze bayley is gone and Bruce Dickinson is back.

During 90s Dickinson and Nicko and Steve have no real relationship, i was in a interview with nicko and blaze in 98 and Nicko said that he cant pronuce the old Singer name he wanted to remember, and i remember Steve saying that bruce would do a country álbum if he thought that álbum would sell.

And suddenly all ok.

Say again: did you say you were at an interview? (--or did you simply mean you read/saw an interview?) And was Nicko being a bullshitter & saying he couldn't remember Bruce's name? I can't help but thinking that they all get on fine & they were simply incredibly poor at disguising their feelings around the time he left i.e. they were annoyed, bitter, disappointed --& it just came out. Not particularly surprising.

Yes i was at the interview, the came to a radio program near my house ( blaze and nicko only) and we were there a few guys, and being asked of bruce he said with "nicko voice " somthing like "well Brr...Bruu... i cant say ( or remember) the name and he said it was the past and so ....

It was in 97/ 98? before Virtual Xi was out,the put the angel ant the gambler many times. they Split to make interviews around the world ,Blaze and nicko and mabye Steve with dave and janick.I remember this because that was said in the interview.

And after the interview blaze tried to kiss a girl when she was taking a picture with him,but the girl escaped LOL.
Btw, i love the reunión and im not trying to say anything bad,its only that back in the time for most of people was IMPOSIBLE to reunite iron maiden.

Short interview, about the real world incorporated in their album. One of the songs mentioned is Fear is the Key.
Also Bruce talks quickly about the cover "Derek still works for us".

Great interview forostar! One thing in particular stood out for me.
"I think this will be the biggest record we ever had"- Bruce Dickinson.

It wasn't quite that, though many a Maiden fan - in my opinion - should re-evaluate their take on it. Much too often is it at the bottom, or very near that, of the typical post your Maiden favourite record.

Of course he's going to say that. He wants people to buy his albums.
