Iron Maiden video interviews / shows

@no_5: lately I listen a lot to McCoy Tyner
@genghis: thanks for the link, I am looking forward to see their film about Rush. Actually, Flight 666 was not about the legacy of Iron Maiden (it was not about their past), so I wonder how the Rush film will be.

That has to be one of the most widely circulated videos...

Somebody had been spitting at Blaze throughout the gig, and was particularly nasty during The Trooper, so Blaze got enough.

HOLY CRAP
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Dude, that's gotta be the most embarrassing and funny thing I've always heardXD

EDIT:
"Always heard"? Man, I guess that was a bit to much funny.

Iron Maiden Live at Heineken Jammin' Festival 15.06.2003, interview with Adrian Smith and Janick Gers

Very short Bruce Dickinson interview with Jacksonville, Florida music show called "BACKSTREET". (1987)

The following might (especially) be interesting for people who followed hardrock in the 80s. However, some of these names are still going strong and might appeal to more metalheads. They were guests in the Japanese TV show (called Pure Rock) in the 1980s. Plus there's a bit of live footage from some bands as well. The Maiden fragment is from 1988, to be found in part 1. Here goes:

This is Man on the Edge recorded by a Serbian tv-station, it was played in the E Club in Budapest during the VXI tour. People who were there say that it's probably the smallest venue played by Maiden since the debut album (or possibly Killers) era, and judging by the size of the stage (they don't have much room to move, do they?), I'd say the venue could hold a couple of hundred people.

Interesting! Thanks for the vid, brings back some good memories of this tour!  :ok:

About the venue, I just read on the Commentary that it wasn't Maiden's original choice. The original choice was Petofi Csarnok (capacity of 6000), but for some reason it had to be rescheduled.

I bet that a lot of disappointed fans -who had tickets- couldn't be there.

Apparenty Brian May performed that night at the Csarnok, so they pushed Maiden to the E Club.

Iron Maiden live in Athens 01-10-1999 -> The Trooper & interview with Bruce. The last night of the 1999 "Ed Hunter Tour" --> with (a part of) the infamous flare incident!
And Bruce explains why they never play Alexander the Great (not the coolest reason imho).

Bruce explains why a collaboration with other great singers didn't happen.

Interview with Dave and Blaze in Greece, 26/3/1998. Unfortunately most of it is overdubbed.
part 1 + part 2

That was a pretty bad explanation  just replace Fear of the Dark with Alexander the Great for a couple of nights, the crowd would get wild!
