Iron Maiden to announce UK dates on Thursday 11 November!

Guys, can you recommend me one of the english shows. For now I'm thinking about London or Birmindham. Which will be the best choise according to you? Also, is there something common between NIA and NEC Arena ?!

NEC (now lg arena) is larger than the NIA. Birmingham will sell out quicker especially because its a tiny arena

Thanks Trav..and Habberdasher you were right the first time, it is a 2 1/2 month gap right there, and plenty of time for the band, who will already be state side, to do a North American tour.  It will not be extensive, but the lads gotta know their U.S and Canadian fans deserve more than just El Dorado!  My prediction of 15-20 U.S/Canadian shows stands, and appears to be the next announcement.  Europe is already well represented, and will get more shows as well.

How could the fellas sleep at night knowing their North American fans never got to see/hear Coming Home, Final Frontier, Starblind etc. live?  No way.  L.A, N.Y, Boston, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver are a lock.  Hopefully a few more shows as well before heading back over the pond.

I have no doubt they will. Most of these arenas are 12,000 or so (O2 is bigger, I think), and I can't see a problem with Maiden selling out these places.
I don't think they sold out the SECC in 2006. There were still tickets available a few days before the concert.

Are you going for a "first to barrier"?
I know some people who got that in 2006 - they were ripped off the barrier second into 'Different World'.  They were 15 at the time but it shows how mental it is down there.

This tour is amazing. I'll be going to both Scottish dates. I'm not in the fanclub but 02 have presales for all their dates with their Priority ticket service. :edmetal:

No date for the south-west of England then?  We can't all get to London, Brum or Cardiff!  Think I'll give this one a miss, do they realise there is a recession on?

The official iron maiden facebook page said in a comment that there would be further European tour dates, thought I should post this here. :)

The announcement for the UK dates also came with a mention of European dates before the UK tour, which is the final leg of the World Tour.

Its not that bad you live on an Island anyway :P, what is it a few hour drive?

Woot, got my ticket for Manchester :D Couldn't really afford to go anywhere else though, so I'll stick with the one show for now.

Just another 132 days, 20 hours, 53 minutes and 38 seconds till gates open ;)

might be going to another gig but seated with my girlfriend. i wanted to go standing and shes hopelessly clumsy... and short so i said id take her seated to birmingham or belfast.
either way, cant wait to see what they come up with for the tour. and ill be seeing em in manchester 2days short of when i saw em in dublin last time round (pointless bit of me trivia)    :ok:

Just ordered my ticket for London: £6.25 booking fee (used to that now) plus £2.50 delivery charge for a paperless ticket - unless that means I'm getting an embossed gold plate for a ticket....
