Transylvania, Still Life, To Tame a Land.  Why does this stress me out so much?

Still Life (weakest on PoM IMO), Transylvania (not special compared to others remaining), Phantom of the Opera (I know most of you like it, I can't stand it).

Seems like most people don't like Transylvania and Flight of Icarus.

I'm quite amazed to see that Wrathchild is so popular, compared with Transylvania, Flight of Icarus and even Prowler! Heretic bastaaaaaaaarrrrrrdddddsss!

Seriously though:
I sometimes have the idea that people tend to vote for songs they've never witnessed live or something.
Like this, rare tracks won't survive long.

There must be some kind of formula(s) affecting people's votes, and maybe you're right.

Another hypothetical issue is that newer songs have more chances to survive.
Take for instance Phantom : After some rounds some people maybe will be tired to see it all the time there and will vote it
Of course this is just a supposal, but I'm almost convinced that the results wouldn't be the same
if we had all Maiden songs from the start to eliminate

I doubt Phantom or Hallowed will attract many votes, until the very end when we're dealing with the final top ten.

There's no reason to think people will get "tired" of seeing the best songs survive.

Yeah those two will probably survive to the end, thus Phantom was a bad example,
but my point was generally about older songs (which stay for more rounds in polls)

Now the choices start to get painful here,  the last couple of songs in this round will hurt badly.

Or maybe it's just only a  matter of personal tastes.
