My guess is that Rime will get its first votes at some point in the SSOASS round, but will survive safely - Hallowed will not get voted for until we reach the last 3 albums.

I don't think Hallowed will get voted for, ever. I can place a bet right now, it's going to be the last survivor.

I really wonder which 10 eighties songs will meet the nineties.
Plus: Will one (or more) of these disappear? I guess we're really going to see a huge contrast between these decades.

There are a few candidates from the 90s that have enough appeal among the masses to push out one or two 80's songs; Fear of the Dark, Sign of the Cross and The Clansman have all gotten some kind of "classic" status and can possibly compete. I think at least one of these three will survive and face Brave New World.

Who knows. I also like ATSS but this song might be less appealing in this poll, because hardly anyone has witnessed it in concert. (Saw it 3 times and it always was among the highlights of these gigs).

I think most of 'No Prayer...' will go away pretty fast. The title track and 'Bring Your Daughter...' are above average tracks in my opinion, but the rest is easily worse than every song currently on the list.

Too bad that some real gems off of SSoaSS will no doubt be destroyed... I.e. The Prophecy and Only The Good Die Young.

I don't like The Prophecy. Vocal lines are too weird. On the other hand, Only The Good Die Young is among the best Maiden stuff ever.

This is going to be excruciating. A great song from SIT survived (I had hoped CSIT could've stayed in as well) but now we've got 10 songs that all are among my favourite songs and then in comes my favourite album. Once Seventh Son has done its job, things will be easier for a while ...

-it's possible that even Fear of the Dark won't survive -maybe none 90s track will

Seriously, Beast -Trooper out, Remember Tomorrow out, Phantom almost out three times,
how Sign of the Cross or Clasman can make it ?
