When I joined the forum, I was at the tail end of having SIT as my favourite Maiden album (I remember voting for it in a poll in a very old thread) and I guess the previous oversaturation never really went away. And I admit that I never loved Alexander as much as many did - it just felt kinda lacking next to their other epics, I'm not sure why.
Now, if Sea of Madness or Loneliness got here, I wouldn't probably vote against them.
