Is it just a coincidence that 9 of the remaining 16 songs are the longest songs on their respective albums?
 
I don't think it's a coincidence at all. There's a big love of epics around here. I'd have rather seen a mix of some shorter, snappier songs left at this stage, though.
 
This forum very much leans toward epic, proggy Maiden.
Snappy, catchy tunes like Run to the Hills are completely overlooked and underrated.
 
Yeah, can we get some more votes in here so that we don't lose every single Book of Souls song at once? Ugh. I don't know why these games are making me so mad recently.

No, no, no, you don't understand: they are overplayed songs! They have to be bad!
 
I can understand Book of Souls and Empire (heck, I voted for them) But If Eternity Should Fail topping with 12 votes I don't understand. I thought that was one of the most liked from the new album.
 
I still disagree. I love reunion Maiden the most, I rather like their "epical" songs, I dislike NOTB (both the album and the song) etc... Yet I completely disagree with the final list. Make of that what you will.

If If Eternity Should Fail should fail all the Bruce fanatics would probably bring out their flails or start to flay us, which would be a rather great fail, especially in my case, since I happen to be rather frail.
