I'm sure someone voted for it before.

It's a fucking travesty that people vote for Brighter Than a Thousand Suns and Paschendale before disposing of Where Eagles Dare.
Can we just say Powerslave is the best Maiden song and let everything else fight out for 2nd place? Cause I'm never gonna vote for it.

OK. I think Where Eagles Dare is a classic attempt of trying to do too much too fast. Yeah, Nick can drum, but that's all it does. It's a scramble otherwise. Give me a set-piece song over a wild attack any day.I would rather listen to Where Eagles Dare 10 times in a row than 1000 Suns or Paschedale once. And Where Eagles Dare is only my 6th or 7th favorite song on Piece of Mind. The drum into and opening riffs have more energy, excitement and better execution (and production!) than most post-1988 songs. Yes, the instrumental section is repetitive and drags, but it pales in comparison to how most 6+ minute post-reunion songs slow the passage of time. Paschendale and Brighter Than a Thousands Sons are prime examples of this.
