The rest of the B-Sides join the battle!

I refuse to call Virus a B-side. :P And where are some of the best ones, in Judgement Day and Justice of the Peace?

Those songs were already included in the X-Factor rounds.
I think that because they were in between normal album rounds they had a smaller chance of survival.
Judgement Day, Justice of the Peace and I Live My Way were b-sides that happened to land on the Japanese album as bonus tracks.

To even out the b-sides lists, certain bonus songs were included with albums that they appeared on in some form. Sanctuary, Twilight Zone and Total Eclipse were also included with albums despite not being on the originals. Total Eclipse in particular did pretty well. It's not like the X Factor tracks were a special case.

You treat them as a special case. Even if they were not written and recorded as b-sides, they still came out as b-sides. Sanctuary, Twilight Zone and Total Eclipse were also b-sides but have now become regular album songs (and I bet they will stay so on future releases; not sure about LP releases though). The X-Factor b-sides only appeared on the Japanese edition of the album and have never been and never will be regular album tracks.

Practically, I think it is better to see these b-sides competing with the other b-sides. I think they had a bigger chance of doing well, compared with competing vs songs such as Sign of the Cross and other album songs.

It's not a matter of life and death, hope you don't mind me bringing all this up. Looking forward to the rest of the game!

The difference between the b-sides and the X Factor songs though is that the latter were made with the intent of being on the album, the others were not. It's not like they were recorded as leftovers like the covers on this list.

Also, why are you complaining about this now? This is something that could've been addressed (and maybe adjusted) when we were actually having the X Factor rounds.
