What's with the Sheriff and Black Bart hate? Those are awesome songs. :(
 
Bruce's vocals on Crossed Eyed Mary are what Armageddon would sound like.
It's one of three B Sides that are better than a significant number of album tracks.
(The others are Reach Out and That Girl)
 
That Girl is great. The lyrics don't fit Somewhere in Time or any other album and it wasn't written by Maiden, but there's a special vibe in this song. It's not heavy, but at least not Bryan Adamish or Bon Jovish (as opposed to Reach Out!).

Probably still my favourite B-side and I like it better than roughly two third of the catalogue. The guitar harmonies, the guitar synth and the melancholic feel really grabbed me the first time I heard it (22 years ago) and I still think it hasn't lost much of it's glory. Beautiful solo by Dave and Bruce's last vocal is really excellent! Check here the FM version (cool solo).
