Yes it does, but I just love the songs I didn't vote for more than 'The Number of the Beast'. When Maiden's top two albums (IMO) go up against each other some big names are bound to fall, and only two songs per album can be promoted!

Yea, I've heard it tons of times and I'll admit that sometimes I might get tired of hearing it, but I'm not gonna put it lower in my rankings just because I've heard it a bunch of times or because it's "overexposed".

Plus it's really the song that got me into Metal, it definitely gets points for that.
 
Only among hardcore Maiden fans would Beast be out so early.
It's an all-time classic metal song, and deservedly so.
 
It's a great instrumental. I'm surprised it got through but might not last later... I feel that the instrumentals don't get enough love. Genghis Khan and Ides are out already and that leaves Losfer. Hope it's as lucky as Transylvania was.
 
I'd say Losfer Words is a good instrumental, not great however. It feels to me that they wrote lyrics to the music and just never put them into the final song, whereas Genghis Khan / Transylvania especially sound like they were created with just music in mind.
 
There is no way Losfer Words gets promoted. This means that it has to beat Rime, Powerslave, Aces High, The Duellist and all the rest.

Yep. I also prefer Losfer Words out of all the instrumentals I think..

Transylvania, yep, great song. Just a bit surprised it beat out all those other classic first two album tracks considering there isn't really THAT much in Transylvania except a great riff and soloing...

It does however lead perfectly into Remember Tomorrow when done live like they did back in 92/93, a song that SHOULD have made it through :p
 
I think people were just busy voting for other things when Transylvania was about. It picked up quite a few votes just before it was promoted.
