It seems lost on too many people here (and elsewhere) that music is a very subjective experience and opinions regarding it that pertain to preference are down to personal taste. This isn't politics, ethics or some scientific discipline.

Two Worlds Collide is very under-rated.

To the Flash's point, I would have added better value by saying something along the lines of....

When Two Worlds Collide is a dark horse candidate to survive. It has all the elements of a classic* Maiden song (the quiet intro that builds suspense, the gallop, the bombastic chorus) without the elements that bog down songs I don't like (too much repetition--whether lyrically or musically, badly need of editing, disjointed songwriting). Against the other songs on VXI, it should be at least considered for survival**. It also seems like a song that Bruce could sing well, for what its worth.

*classic being my subjective shorthand for the sound Maiden utilized to great success during the mid and late 80s
** I know this is not a Survivor

Of course it’s not as good as much of the discography, it‘s missing H and Bruce and might as well be missing Nicko.
But I like Virtual XI for its Steve Harris-ness and always enjoy putting it on.
Como Estais is elegiac - stirring and touching in the manner of a national anthem, with a level of poignance. Beautiful song.
Futureal is a ripper, an explosive cascading waterfall of energy.
Educated Fool has beautiful melodies and some heft under its gentle touch.
Angel is just a simple, hard rock rave-up, singalong arena song - not special, but fun.
The Clansman is an all-time Harris epic.
Lightning and Collide are fine, if rather unremarkable.
Eyes is monotonous and the album’s only real misstep.
