Must be. That was my first Maiden concert!

LOL. A photo pass covers just the first three songs and Bruce was not in the mood to be photographed that day, so he kept mostly to the back of the stage for the first 3 songs. Whenever he was at the front I simply missed him, cause I was focused on someone else. Jan I mostly ignored TBH.

Was that not the infamous gig with flares in the front row? Maybe that's why Bruce was hiding.

Flares are kind of a standard in every Maiden gig in Athens. Indoors or outdoors. But I think the one you are referring to was a few years later at Terra Vibe park, when Bruce made some angry comments about it. Not sure though, might be wrong.
