Anyway flames are overused. Dave Lights was more creative in Lighning, effects and pyro
I wouldn't say that. The lights in the recent tours are very nice imo, even for some of the 90's tours. Overused flames? By effects you mean props, right. I can't agree. Which was Dave Lights' last tour for Maiden?

Yeah. Overused flames since the Book of souls I think.
I mean effects as effects with lights and smoke… See live After Death video: water effects in the backdrop in Rime of the Ancient Mariner or lightning columns in World Slavery Tour and Somewhere on Tour, red sparks explosions in The Number of the Beast… playing with Smoke and other lightning effects.

I think Dave Lights left just before Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour, I think he was in the stage and lightning rigs design but he wasn't on the tour.

I agree with all of this. But the effects are still cool, maybe not as evident and now every effect is done by the screens anyway.

The pyro is usually only for 2 songs in the set.

And it showed right on the next tour in 1990. I really wish we had seen his TEH 1999 idea for the stage.
