I don't know, I know that once he entered in the GNR room at the beginning of the tour and they laughed at him because the trousers and the mask but this is not the reason because he weared them until the end of US tour. He stopped to wearing the mask during Moonchild after the first gigs in Canada. I like more this outfit than the European one.
