Ahhh... very, very close Wingman (--although not the analysis or answer.) The difference in their predicament is just that: Snowden is in hiding, and we don't know precisely where he is; Assange's location, on the other hand, is known.Well, Snowden is hiding (as in: the public does not know where he is) whereas Assange has found sanctuary (in the Equadorian embassy in London). In some sort of metaphorical way they could perhaps be said to be running silent, running deep? Like submarines, surfacing every now and then?
Two points: if Snowden is in hiding, who is he in hiding from? And Assange: where would he like to go ultimately, do you think?
