Iron Maiden Picture Game

Here's a sort-of hint: some specific thing that is linked to Bodom can also be found in one line in a popular Iron Maiden song.

See if that helps.

Think outside the box, you say? Alright, then.

The blokes in that photo are all wearing neckties . . .
Neckties are mentioned in AC/DC's Dirt Deeds Done Dirt Cheap . . .
Used Ford Thunderbirds are sometimes dirt cheap . . .
Thunderbirds was a TV show in the 60's . . .
TV is often viewed whilst sitting in a chair . . .
Chairs are often found in aircraft . . .
Aircraft have wings . . .
Paul McCartney and Wings did the theme for a Bond film . . .
Araldite is a bonding agent, which comes in two parts . . .
Motorbikes have two wheels . . .
Lawrence of Arabia rode around on a motorbike . . .
Arabia has desert in it . . .

Therefore it can only be To Tame a Land!

Holy fucking shit, I almost wish this was it, but no.

Still Life? Pool/Bottom/Bodom of the pool?
Nope.

Is the link to the place, the murder case or the band?
The place.

I wanted to write something like: "Children of Bodom -> Children of 'But, uhm...' -> Losfer Words (Big 'Orra)", but youse were faster.
Losfer Words is incorrect at any rate.

Children - codename for some sort of military operation - Afraid to Shoot Strangers
Nope.

One murder-related song not yet mentioned?

Murders in the Rue Morgue?
Song has nothing to do with murder, and again, no.

But wonderful guesses this time around. :D

The place.
Lake Bodom, Espoo, Finland. Since there's not a single mention of Espoo (or Finland) in any Maiden song, and the name "Bodom" is also not mentioned, is "Lake" the clue here?

The first Maiden song that springs to mind, containing the word lake, is Isle of Avalon. Is that it?
