This. I feel Steve will be inspired by Bruce's new and his best solo material as he calls it.

Bruce will probably release his solo album in early or March 2027 (he will do most of the promotion next year, as well as the singles), then tour until August, so the fall (and early 2027, their wanted 3-4 months) could be for Maiden's writing. Do they need more time with Simon, what about Nicko? Dunno. Release in 2028 along with a tour. I doubt Adrian will be busy with SK so soon after the 2026's almost 3 months tour. Steve with BL (they are due to record another album, but still) and all are working around Maiden's schedule. The live concert won't be an issue, Steve can edit it next year too.

I think the same, and the movie and live album from Paris should be produced and mixed by someone more experienced; Shirley is the most obvious choice, of course.

I can see Maiden doing a few months in the studio early in the year. Bruce releasing and touring his new solo album, and Steve probably doing some British Lion stuff.

Janick, Dave and Adrian would have most of the year off unless there's more Smith/Kotzen stuff.

I can see that too. Usually ¿or never?they dont say from this month to this month we are goinh to record an album. I dont see them a year off but in thr oficial website it says so

• Nicko returns to the band and Simon also stays so now they have two drummers. Sonic hijinks ensue.

• The ‘Empire of the Clouds’ blimp is launched.
• Rod Smallwood records a solo album.
• The band records a new Iron Maiden album.

It's simply a fact that it's striking and strange that there will be a whole year without a tour, given that Steve emphasises his love of touring so much.
I see two possibilities: First: He wants to make time for the next Iron Maiden album.
Second: The statement was a little trick to boost ticket sales for 2026. Later, it will be announced that there is good news: Since the tour was so spectacularly well received, it has been ‘spontaneously’ decided to tour in 2027 after all.

Or both tour with their other bands. But if rod said that they are touring there will be more tours with iron malden
