My logic: Killers is a classic Maiden record (despite my own feelings on it). Murders and the title track are two of the three most popular songs on it, therefore they’re classics despite less live play.
That's true, in that sense every song from the golden era is a classic. That'd include stuff like The Prophecy, Sun & Steel or Flash of the Blade though. Sure, they're technically classics, but they're also in a tier below the rest of the popular tracks. I think Poto put it nicely:

They are classics, but deep cuts in a live setting.
I'm okay with describing them like that. Personally when I say classics, I mean those that also appear (semi-)regularly in setlists.

No, that’s why I specifically said Murders and Killers are 3 (with Wrathchild) of the most popular songs from that album. Something like Prodigal Son, Innocent Exile, even Purgatory would be a deep cut. Poto said it best though, they’re classics but live rarities.
