It's even on Maiden Japan, don't need bootlegs. There is one of Bruce doing it however, which is kind of interesting since they never did it since.

But not on the official Maiden Japan - so it's on the bootleg version.

His voice was very good in 1981 (especially in Samson songs like ''Communion'' and ''Riding With The Angels''). It's similar to his TNOTB voice.

Btw, ''Purgatory'' is a song that doesn't suit his voice imo.

Yes, as far as I know it was played live in the 70s. With the Maiden77 site no longer around I can't find the exact piece of info anymore but I'm positive I had read there it was. Which is not the same as "I'm positive it was" admittedly.
