did he? I was there and don't remember that. Her birthday is in April and Donington is every June.

I mean, he definitely started too early, but they all catch up within one bar. As far as timing goes, they covered it well.

I've just heard this advance on base tempo...
There are five explanations for that kind of mistake :
1) Bruce pushed too hard on the beers Aces High in Brazil,
2) Bruce drank too much tequila in mexico,
3) Bruce drank too much beer and tequila in between the shows in Brazil and Mexico,
4) Bruce is caught somewhere in time,
5) Bruce has been caught somewhere in time with a lot of beers and tequila, training for the SIT/Senjutsu tour next year...

It could be solved very simply by him wearing in ear monitors, then he would be able to hear perfectly no matter where he is on the stage.
Maiden are VERY old school on their monitor requirements though. They've played using loud wedge monitors for 40+ years so aren't going to change now.
