I don't like Powerslave very much either. Sure, it has some of Maiden's best ever tracks on it -Aces High, Two Minutes To Midnight, Powerslave, Rime Of The Ancient Mariner- but with the exception of Flash Of The Blade, you can toss everything else in the bin, in my opinion. Losfer Words is catchy, but nothing more than that, in my opinion. The Duellists seems to have been written at haste and has one of Maiden's worst instrumental sections ever, in my opinion. As for Back In The Village, I'd rather not even start.
I tried to emphasise the fact that the above said is my own personal opinion, nothing more, nothing less. Since I'm not attacking anybody else's opinion here (merely phrasing my own), I'd be grateful if you would refrain from doing so yourself too.

Four of the eight tracks on Powerslave (Aces High, Two Minutes, Powerslave and Rime) are some of the band's best, Losfer Words is a catchy song too but i've never taken to the other three, they always seem like filler to me. Still with 5 out of the 8 being so good, I'd consider Powerslave still to be a very good album.

I like the whole thing though, I'm a sucker for longer songs.
