If Maiden played a sixth Blaze era song live with Bruce?

Have I or have I not written in this thread? Anyway, I think that Bruce nowadays would sound great doing pretty much all of the Blaze-era repertoire, I'd love him doing the entirety of The X Factor, but if I were to say one song I'd love to hear Brucified (2020s Brucified, to be exact), it would be Como Estais Amigos.

That would be really awesome.

Be careful what you wish for. He might retitle it Como Estais Argentinian Cunts!

To be fair, they have played the 5 obvious Blaze tunes with Bruce. Therefore I have to go with one of two personal favourites from that era: Como Estais Amigos and The Educated Fool.

I agree, all five Blaze tunes sounded great post 1999, very natural too given that TXF and VXII set so much of the musical tone for modern maiden.

I'd like to hear Virus (never gonna happen) or Lightning Strikes Twice (which is literally likelier than maiden playing it again!)
The lightning strikes chorus just fundamentally doesn't work and is literally impossible so that rules it out completely

There are songs that i want to remember blaze on it. And that is one
Honestly, for the difficulty of the chorus, I think Blaze did great on it.

I'd always assumed the chorus was written as an obvious crowd interaction piece, with Blaze singing the lead-up, and the crowd answering with "STRIKES TWICE!" But Blaze didn't do as much of that as Bruce had. His rendition of Heaven Can Wait, for example--Blaze sang it straight through for the most part.

As for whether Bruce tried that one out, I think Bruce would put more theatricality into the ominousness of the verses early on, so that could work well to add to the buildup of tension the song is obviously going for. Someone mentioned Como Estais Amigos, and that one I just can't really picture for some reason. Blaze's baritone suits it too well, though I wish there had been more keys used to beef up the grandeur of the choruses, especially later on in the song. Even so, I'd welcome Bruce giving it a shot.

What would be cool in this age of content creation (if the band needed to/cared to) create a constant flow of content for social media, would be if they'd film rehearsals, relearn some old songs they'd never played live with Bruce, and give them a go. But of course, Maiden don't need to do that

At this stage, it's doubtful we'll get Bruce on a deep cut Blaze track live, unless they do indeed do some sort of latter half retrospective tour to follow up RFYL. Problem is, I'm not really seeing a lot of demand for any untested Blaze tracks in particular in the fanbase like there had been for Alexander the Great and a return for Infinite Dreams. So, those will probably remain ignored in a future live setting, IMO.

Now he does interact with the crowd during the chorus. Yes that chorus and the way he pronunce is blaze 100%.

The problem with this song is the lyrics lol .
