The Path I Choose is awesome, stop voting for it people.

Agreed Mosh. How can one not appreciate the incredible dynamics and changes in this track, in this early stage?

The band does what Maiden has become famous for but does it in their own distinct way. Schaffer alternates perfectly between open chords and fast menacing riffs. The change in rhythm and tempo leading to these rolling bass drums in the chorus is so mighty!

Perhaps this song hurts the fan who is especially focused on the slow balladic tearjerkers Barlow sings on.

Sums up Desert Rain perfectly. Oh wait, you voted for it... :P

The early tunes may be thrashier, but they're simply not as good. Even some of the great ones (Desert Rain, When the Night Falls) are unfocused. The not-so-great ones have some cool riffs and ideas, but are often quite messy. The vocals on the first album really don't help, either. Some of those old songs got better when Barlow sang them on Days of Purgatory or AIA. The ones that didn't get any better are shown for their true weaknesses (like Path I Choose).

Promoted songs from the debut - least surprising thing ever.

Burnt Offerings joins the game! Tough choices, but I'm going with Burning Creator's Spirit :)

Angels Holocaust
Pierced Spirit

I simply can't pick any of the rest.

Eh, I'm going by album. Most of the tracks I dislike on Stormrider are gone, so now I'm picking the ones that I only kind of enjoy. Since this is the first BO round, I voted for the weakest songs from that album.

I suppose that I should be voting on the list as a whole, but for some reason that's not how I see it.

Brainwashed is the second best song on their best album. Fact.

I've never understand the love for Burnt Offerings. Last December and Dante's Inferno are awesome, but the rest are either mediocre or sloppy at best. I just listened to it again today and I still don't get it.
